Q: How long will it take to complete my remodeling job?

A: The time frame for your project will vary depending on the range of the remodels. Small jobs such as kitchens and bathrooms can take anywhere between one week to one month whereas an entire house can take up to six months. We will provide you with a time estimate after we assess the project parameters.

Q: What if I want to make changes once the work has begun?

A: Although you may request that changes be made after work has begun, you should be aware that this will increase your cost and the time it takes to complete the project. If you decide to go forward with the changes, we will create a work order that will provide you with a new cost analysis.

Q: Do you use subcontractors?

A: We may or may not utilize subcontractors for your project. Usually subcontractors are hired to handle items such as plumbing or electrical work. Hiring subcontractors allows us to remain competitive in our industry while providing our customers with the best prices possible. Q: Can I do any of the remodeling work myself to help control costs?

A: If you are interested in reducing the cost by doing some of the remodeling work yourself such as removing fixtures, flooring or demolition, you may. However, you should be aware that the inconvenience to you may outweigh the savings.  If you are not aware of the laws that govern your ability to remodel your home (such as if you have a home owners association or need a permit), you may want to consult with us before doing any of the work yourself.

Q: How will remodeling affect the value of my home?

A: Research shows that kitchen remodeling or bathroom remodeling will have the most profound affect on the value of your home. Depending on the scope of the project you may be able to increase your asking price by tens of thousands of dollars when it comes time to sell. If remodeling for the purpose of increasing the sales price of your home, you should focus on improving functionality, updating fixtures and appliances and achieving a unified look and feel. Don't make dramatic style statements that could backfire.

Q: What is the largest or smallest job you will take?
